What does Greenwich SEND Voice do?

Our role is to truly listen to parent carers and understand the needs of their families so we can help achieve better outcomes for our Children and Young People.

We work hand-in-hand with local and national agencies, as well as service providers, to ensure parent carer voices are heard and fully considered in planning and delivering services, driving meaningful, positive change for our Children and Young People.

Everything we do is rooted in the lived experiences of our members. We make it easy for parent carers to share what matters most by gathering their views in many different ways. This helps us build a clear picture of what needs to be taken into council and healthcare meetings and what needs to change.

We collect experiences through surveys, coffee mornings, polls, working groups, webinars, information sessions and conferences. This insight is then taken to local boards and strategic meetings, where it actively shapes service design and provision. Our approach is simple: “you said, we did.” We regularly update our GPCF members, showing exactly how their feedback leads to real progress.

In addition, we organise a wide range of events, workshops and training to support and empower our community.
